"Operation Study" Mock Drill for Emergency Preparedness as per Union Home Department guidelines dated 7/05/2025 at 4.00 PM. Uran District Organized at Raigad. During the said mock drill, citizens will be alerted to the danger by sounding the siren at 4:00 am as soon as the notification is received from the government.
Civil Defense Sirens have been installed at seven places in Uran city namely 1) Tehsil Office, Uran, 2) ONGC Colony Uran, 3) Group Gram Panchayat, Chanje, 4) GTPS Company, Bokadvira, 5) Barmer Lorry Bhendkhal, 6) All Cargo Company, Koproli 7) Bulk Gate Company, Mora Uran.
As this mock drill is a preparation for emergency preparedness, the citizens of this area should not panic after the siren sounds. Or don't get confused. Take shelter in a safe place immediately. Don't believe any rumours.
N.I. Mock drill of fire incident will be conducted at School, Panchayat Samiti, Uran. On this occasion, a mock drill of emergency response will be conducted by the Civil Defense Force. On this occasion, use of emergency search and rescue materials, help of medical team, what should citizens do and what not to do? Guidance and demonstrations are being organized in this regard.
In the evening, some parts of Uran city will be black out. During this time all the lights will be switched off for 5 minutes. Citizens of this area should not panic after the sound of sirens as emergency preparedness is in place. Or don't get confused. Take shelter in a safe place immediately. Don't believe any rumours.
Mock drill will not be conducted at any other place in the district. Citizens should take note of this.
