A golden opportunity has once again become available for students from the Bahujan community in the state to reach high government posts. Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Research and Training Institute (Mahajyoti), Nagpur, an autonomous institution working under the common policy of the Government of Maharashtra, is inviting applications for free competitive examination training for the year 2025-26.
This scheme is open to students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes-Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) and Special Backward Classes (SBC). The application process for pre-training for Union Public Service Commission, Maharashtra Public Service Commission State Services as well as Combined Group 'B' and 'C' competitive examinations has started from 1st August 2025. Applications will be accepted online on the official website www. mahajyoti.org.in till 20th August 2025.
Quality training for national and state level competitive examinations will be provided through 'Mahajyoti'. All the information regarding the training, eligibility criteria, terms and conditions and application process are available in detail on the website.
The facility of taking training through non-resident and offline mediums has been provided. Students participating in offline training will get a monthly stipend and a lump sum contingency fund at the beginning of the training. The training will be provided through reputed institutions and the selection of eligible candidates for admission will be done through an entrance examination.
Mahajyoti has undertaken a movement to bring about social change. Through the pre-training scheme for the Union Public Service Commission, Maharashtra Public Service Commission State Service and Combined Group 'B' and 'C' competitive examinations, students are being provided with quality training along with financial support for their tuition fees.
This initiative is providing opportunities to students from rural and economically weaker backgrounds to achieve success in higher education and competitive examinations. As a result, a positive and long-term change is taking place in the educational field of students from the Bahujan category.
